My latest obsession

My friends threw me a farewell party about a month ago... and now i'm hooked on karaoke!!! Since then i've been bugging my friends to go for more karaoke sessions... we sing the best songs... from Elvis Jailhouse Rock to BoneyM's River of Babylon to the 80s hits of Madonna's Material Girl, Boy Meets Girl Waiting for a Star to Fall... to boybands like WestLife. I even did Simple Plan's Welcome to my Life WITHOUT lyrics! It's madness... and it's fun!

Jobless and Lovin' it!

I've been voluntarily jobless for almost a month now and i'm definitely loving it! I wake up whenever i want (altho i don't sleep past 9:30am no matter how late i go to bed), i read, i watch television, i watch dvds, i talk to my mom, i go for evening walks, sometimes i go for squash, i catch up with other working friends whom i've not met for ages... life is good!!

I've also finally figure out some stuffs. I've decided that i'm going to give multinational agencies a rest. So what if they have 200 offices over 5 continents? So what if their billings per annum is a couple of million dollars? So what if the office is located at a prime location? It doesn't mean shit anymore because what does it bring to me? Besides working unpaid overtime almost every single day? Besides having no social life at all? Besides turning me into a rude person? A guy was boasting about the company he works for having 150 staffs... like as if i'm impressed. I told him, thanks but no thanks.
